A life-course approach to Non-communicable Disease in Women

Commonly used research methods often underestimate the true effect of the exposure. Life-course research takes an integrated approach with a systematic program of investigation to quantify relationships between risk factors, their timing and duration, and their often shared links with increased risk of NCDs.

Taking a life-course approach, our research program at CRE WaND focuses on four key areas that are central to the development of a coherent and integrated strategy for non-communicable diseases in women.
